Post:ballet is dedicated to pushing the ballet envelope and using classical technique as a means, not an end, to artistic expression. Post offers several opportunities to train with the company artists, including our annual Post:workshop summer intensive as well as weekly classes at our official school, Berkeley Ballet Theater.

Post:workshop 2021

Professional and advanced pre-professional dancers are invited to apply for Post:workshop 2021. A week-long summer intensive course designed to challenge and inspire, selected dancers will train with artistic director Robert Dekkers, resident choreographer Vanessa Thiessen, and company artists in technique, repertory, and choreography.

Post:workshop 2021 will take place Monday-Friday, August 2-6.

Post:ballet will offer both a remote and an in-person program, which will be hosted at the Berkeley Ballet Theater studios (1370 Tenth Street, Berkeley CA). Interested applicants should email info@postballet.org with their resume and dance reel by May 15, 2021 to be considered for this program.
